Salutations!

A quick desicion & a jump into a system I am not quite familiar with ... BLOG. Sensing that sharing my experiences will open a door for you, the reader/viewer, to connect with my photographs in a different way, feels right.

Trained as a fine art photographer, I constantly find the need to experiment & push myself in creating art. I find that in documenting daily life, I can reminisce & appreciate moments for much more than what they are. Let me say, WHAT.A.HONOR. it is to not only have the capablitiy & knowledge in capturing & freezing a moment in time, but to also add my own point of view & manipulate the story. What fun it truly is.

Posting photographs is a simple gesture in sharing what beauty is around me; moments that are gone in a split second & most of the time, unrecognized. From early on, gradually understanding more and more, it is simple ... I have a HORRIBLE memory. I had discovered that photography, which was strongly my dad's role through my childhood, assisted me in remembering & relating back to forgotten moments in my past. THIS is the MOST appreciated aspect of photography for me. It has become the relic for my most treasured of times. Thus, I am a photographer, documentor, the paparazzo, or self appointed picture taker of all occasions and life.

The great enjoyment of giving a piece of my creative nature to others (family, strangers, friends, neighbors) helps me in building occasional recurrences of something that I have already photographed. Repetition & pattern at its most beautiful climatic point. Creating a sense of community, whether it be through story, relation, emotion, or craft.
