These Good Times

In recent events, we celebrated my grandfather's 87th birthday! What an exciting moment for us as a family. We were able to gather most everyone. Seeing the delight & twinkle in my grandfather's eyes as we gathered together to celebrate HIM, was a special moment. It felt reminiscent of old times when I was a child & our cousins, my brothers, and I would play the "stairs game" (something we are definitely not able to play anymore).

Basically, us little ones, would go up against the older cousins and attempt at getting pass them on the staircase. Whether it was throwing the littlest above their heads, crawling through legs, or battling our way one by one, having the biggest stay put tunneling the smaller through any possible made way. It was exciting to be a family together, something that as we grow older and create our own families, becomes more & more difficult.
